The TMA has hosted a workshop entitled "Islamic Finance from Different Perspectives" at the HKMA on 2 July 2010. The workshop focused on the latest Global developments of Islamic finance particularly in Real Estate, Role of Shariah in Islamic Finance, Validity of trading contracts, •Rules of Behaviour and Morality and •Regulatory Infrastructure & Monitoring, Islamic Finance and Its Potentials .
We are pleased to have invited Prof. Leslie Young, Professor of Finance, Executive Director, The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr. Dato’ Agil Natt, President & Chief Executive Officer, INCEIF & Prof. Datuk Dr. Syed Othman Alhabshi, Chief Academic Officer, INCEIF, to be the speakers for this workshop.
