To facilitate financial markets practitioners’ understanding of the Code of Conduct and Practice of TMA (TMA Code) and preparation for the elementary level examination on the TMA Code, a crash course will be arranged on Saturday, 27 October 2018 while the examination will be held on Saturday, 10 November 2018. Details are as follows:

Financial markets practitioners or individuals interested in treasury markets who have passed the examination on the TMA Code of Conduct and Practice (Elementary Level) and have attained Bachelor’s or higher degree with major in areas of Economics, Finance, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Investment Management, Asset Management, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering and Accounting, are entitled to apply for TMA Associate Members.


Registration and Payment

Prior to registration, market practitioners should ensure they have fulfilled the above admission criteria. If you are not sure whether you have met the above criteria, please provide copies of the certificate and transcript for membership pre-vetting procedure. For those who are not willing to provide the certificate and transcript for membership pre-vetting procedure but directly took the TMA Code examination, their membership application may be rejected in case they have not met the above criteria.

 

Eligible candidates please download the registration form and return it by fax at (852) 2815 9931 or email to tma@tma.org.hk.    Seats are limited and will be allocated on first-come-first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged. Reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Please write a cheque payable to "Treasury Markets Association" (Please write your full name, telephone no.and crash course/exam date on the back of the cheque) and send it to TMA Office at the following address:

CPD & Attendance Certificate
Participants are entitled to receive 3 CPD (TMA) credits upon completion of the crash course. TMA is the administrator for the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management (ECF-TM) and a recognized institution of Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for providing continuing professional development (CPD) activities. The CPD hours can be used to meet the CPD requirements of the ECF-TM and the SFC.  To qualify for the CPD credits or attendance certificate of the crash course, all participants have to sign-in and sign-out. We regret that neither CPD nor attendance certificate will be given to those who are late for the crash course or leave early. TMA Office will update TMA Individual Members’ CPD record after the crash course is held.
