Postponement

In view of the latest development of the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, captioned seminar will be postponed until further notice.

Climate has been rapidly and perhaps irreversibly changing, with its effect clearly felt in our daily life, and is bound to increasingly impact the global economy and markets. Even where ESG concerns are not directly linked to immediate financial returns, there is a case for long-term investors to adjust their portfolios to foster sustainability and reap first-mover advantages. TMA is delighted to have invited Mr MK Tang, Director, Temasek, to discuss with Members the macro and investment relevance of ESG, as well as some ideas of how this may be put into practice effectively.

Mr MK Tang

Director

Temasek

MK joined Temasek as Director of macro strategy in July 2019. Previously, he was Managing Director and Chief China Economist at Goldman Sachs. Before his 7-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, MK had also worked at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority research department and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). MK graduated with a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 2005, and was a fellow at the Harvard-Yenching Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
