The Treasury Markets Association (TMA) starts today (1 April 2019) an one-month industry stakeholders consultation on issues relating to the alternative reference rate (“ARR”) for Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (“HIBOR”).  The consultation paper can be obtained from here.  The consultation will end on 7 May 2019 (extended from 30 April 2019).

Interested parties are invited to respond to the consultation paper. Comments should be submitted in writing to the TMA Office by the following mean –
