Being an organization with corporate social responsibility, TMA showed great support to the Child Development Fund by donating the net proceeds raised by the Golf Day 2008 to the Child Development Matching Fund (CDMF). In addition, TMA Executive Board and Committee Members are generous in making personal donation for helping the disadvantaged children. We hereby give sincere thanks to the donors: Mr. Esmond Lee, Mr. Andrew Fung, Mr. Helen Wong, Mr. Horace Fan, Mr. Chordio Chan, Mr. Water Cheung (Wyndham Advisor Ltd.) and Mr. Stephen Ng.
A simple but solemn Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held by TMA at HKMA on 9 April 2009 to give out the pledged amount to the CDMF representative - Mr. Moses Cheng. We were also honoured by the pleasance of Ms. Carol Yip, the representative from the Labour and Welfare Bureau (LWB) at the ceremony.
On giving vote of thanks, Mr. Cheng said that they were delighted to receive the first lot of its kind from TMA. At the establishment stage of the Fund, various supports were needed to make it a success. As such, he appealed to interested parties to help as mentors and donors.
